Social Service League (1830s)
  1. Founded by Narayan Malhar Joshi in Bombay in 1911.  
  2. [Joshi also founded the All India Trade Union Congress (1920).]
  3. The main aim was to secure for the masses better and reasonable conditions of life and work.
  4. They organised schools, cooperative societies, sanitary work, medical facilities, improving lives of slum dwellers etc.
