India Sanitation Coalition

The India Sanitation Coalition was launched in 2015, at FICCI, New Delhi. 
ISC is a multi-stakeholder platform that brings together the private sector, government, financial institutions, civil society groups, media, donors/bi-lateral/multilateral, experts etc. to work in the sanitation space to drive sustainable sanitation through a partnership model.
Enables and supports safe and sustainable sanitation by bringing multiple organizations on a common platform through a range of catalytic actionISC hosts the India chapter of Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) in partnership with the “7 coalition members”.
The next three years’ chapter is being run in partnership with Water for People.

The National Institute of Urban Affairs

1. National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) is premier institute for research, capacity building and dissemination of knowledge for the urban sector in India. 
2. It is registered as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. 
3. NIUA conducts research in emerging themes such as urbanization, urban policy and planning, municipal finance and governance, land economics, transit oriented development, urban livelihoods, environment and climate change and smart cities. NIUA supports innovations in the urban sector through informed dialogues, knowledge exchanges, training and capacity building. 
4. NIUA is committed to aligning its effort and programs towards achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
